The mother, Nurhayat E., who threw her 3-month-old baby out of the window of her father-in-law's fourth-floor apartment while visiting, has been transferred to Elazığ Mental Health and Diseases Hospital for treatment. It is claimed that Nurhayat E.'s mental health deteriorated after giving birth.
A heartbreaking incident occurred yesterday morning at the Gülbahar Apartment located on 477th Street in the Fırat neighborhood of the Kayapınar district of Diyarbakır.
THREW HER 3-MONTH-OLD BABY OUT OF THE WINDOW, KILLING HIM
Nurhayat E., who is reported to have psychological issues, threw her 3-month-old baby H.E. out of the window at her father-in-law's apartment on the 4th floor where she was visiting. Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the address. Medical teams confirmed that the baby had lost his life. The mother, Nurhayat E., was taken into custody by the police. The lifeless body of the baby was taken to the morgue for autopsy.
MOTHER TRANSFERRED TO THE HOSPITAL FOR MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES
Nurhayat E., who is said to have experienced a psychological breakdown after giving birth, and whose family tried to assist her during this process, was taken to Elazığ Mental Health and Diseases Hospital for treatment by order of the prosecutor's office.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
