An allegation that could create a stir regarding the plane crash in Ankara, which resulted in the deaths of eight people, including Libyan Chief of General Staff General Muhammad Ali Al-Haddad, has emerged. Due to the fact that the downed French plane was registered under the Maltese flag, the possibility has arisen that Mossad and British intelligence may have activated a device previously installed in the plane's electrical system via an external signal.
As the official guest of Chief of General Staff General Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu, the Falcon 50 jet carrying Libyan Chief of General Staff General Muhammed Ali Ahmed Al-Haddad and his delegation crashed near Haymana district of Ankara.
In the horrific accident, 8 people, including Al-Haddad, lost their lives, while new claims regarding the crash of the aircraft, which also had a black box on board, emerged one after another.
CLAIM THAT WILL CREATE AGENDA
Hürriyet newspaper writer Abdulkadir Selvi brought up a detail that will attract attention regarding the French plane that crashed in Ankara being registered under the Maltese flag.
DID AN APPARATUS ON THE PLANE GET ACTIVATED BY A SIGNAL?
Due to Malta being one of the countries where Mossad and British intelligence operate, the question arose whether an apparatus previously installed in the aircraft's electrical system was activated by a signal sent from outside.
MYSTERY WILL BE SOLVED WITH THE BLACK BOX
These questions will gain clarity with the preliminary report prepared by the technical teams from Turkey, Libya, and France, along with the resolution of the black box and the report prepared by the crash investigation team. It was noted that the aircraft was registered under the Maltese flag but was used in France, not Malta.
INVESTIGATION DEEPENED
On the other hand, the area where the plane crashed has been secured and cordoned off as part of the investigation conducted by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, coordinated by 1 Deputy Chief Public Prosecutor and 4 public prosecutors.
All wreckage parts, especially the black box, which is considered the most critical evidence of the accident, have been secured, and autopsies and toxicology tests are being conducted to determine the exact causes of death of the crew members who lost their lives in the accident. The procedures for the bodies are also ongoing at the Ankara Forensic Medicine Institution Group Presidency.
PILOTS' PRE-ACCIDENT PROCESS UNDER MICROSCOPE
The investigation is also scrutinizing the pilots' process before the accident. Every detail, from the crew's sleep patterns to their meals, alcohol or drug use, and psychological conditions, is being meticulously examined.
The prosecution has requested a report from technical experts to determine whether the aircraft was airworthy. The responsibilities and possible faults of the personnel who performed the last maintenance on the aircraft are also under scrutiny.
CAMERA RECORDINGS SEIZED
As part of the investigation, camera recordings from the airport have been seized, and all radio communications between the tower and the aircraft have been included in the file. Additionally, it has been learned that technical inspections will be added to the file to determine whether the spare parts installed on the aircraft during maintenance activities were compliant with standards.
Samples were taken from both the fuel tanker and the aircraft wreckage against the possibility of fuel contamination or incorrect fuel usage. Local weather reports at the time of the accident were also requested. It has been learned that if the investigation concludes that the accident was caused by a structural failure or design flaw, the chain of responsibility will be expanded.
