Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor Fatih Dönmez announced that the football betting investigation could evolve into a sports betting investigation. In the statement, it was said, "We have a comprehensive preparation for the illegal betting investigation, and the investigation will grow. Its scope will be very broad. We will have larger investigations than those conducted so far. We will soon announce our major investigation work, which includes well-known names."

''NO ONE REMAINED IN CUSTODY IN THIS CASE''

Chief Prosecutor Fatih Dönmez, who made a statement about the sports betting investigation, said, "A total of 129 suspects were investigated within the scope of the sports betting investigation. Legal action was taken against 56 suspects. No one remained in custody in this case."

"IT MAY SPREAD TO BASKETBALL AND VOLLEYBALL"

Continuing his remarks, Dönmez stated, "The data provided by the TFF is important for us. The data coming from Spor Toto is also very important for us. Based on the data from the institutions, the betting case may spread to basketball and volleyball."
