A special team established by the Provincial Police Department in Konya initiated efforts to capture Kadir Öztaş, who has a 15-year prison sentence for various crimes. In an operation conducted at the house where the convict was hiding, Öztaş, who was said to be "not at home," was found and arrested by the teams under the bed in the bedroom.
The teams of the Wanted Persons Bureau of the Provincial Police Department in Konya started working to find Kadir Öztaş, a prison escapee with a total of 15 years of confirmed prison sentences for various crimes. The special team established determined that Öztaş was hiding in a house in the Nişantaş neighborhood of the central Selçuklu district.
"NOT AT HOME" WAS SAID
The police raided the house where Öztaş was hiding. When Öztaş's relatives refused to hand him over, saying 'He is not at home,' the police teams entered the premises with a search warrant.
CAUGHT UNDER THE BED
The teams found Öztaş hiding under the bed in the bedroom during their search of the house. Öztaş, who was taken into custody, was taken to the hospital for a health check and then brought to the Public Order Branch. After his procedures here, Öztaş was referred to the courthouse and was arrested.
