This week, Samsunspor, which will face Fenerbahçe in the Super League, has appealed the red card given to Cherif Ndiaye in the match against Gaziantep FK. Fuat Çapa commented on the matter, saying, "We have appealed; I don't know what will come of it. If we look at it with a clear conscience, I hope the card will be canceled. Am I too hopeful? I don't know, we will see."
The football director of Samsunspor, one of the teams in the Trendyol Super League, Fuat Çapa, announced that they have appealed against the penalty imposed on Cherif Ndiaye, who received a red card due to two yellow cards in the match against Gaziantep FK, making him ineligible for the match against Fenerbahçe.
FUAT ÇAPA'S REACTION TO THE REFEREES
In a statement to the press at the Nuri Asan Facilities, Çapa reacted to the refereeing team of the 2-2 draw against Gaziantep FK.
Çapa claimed that the decisions made by the referee overshadowed the match, stating, "Those who watched the match clearly saw that the decisions made by the referee completely overshadowed the game. The incidents that occurred were, frankly, not only unexpected on the field but also during halftime, things that are not pleasant for football happened. I am following and listening to some commentator friends on television. They are overreacting to the response given by our captain Zeki Yavru. But there is something, once, twice, three times when you feel pain, you can react like that. But what led to that situation is never discussed. The second yellow card unjustly given to our player Cherif Ndiaye, the foul on Zeki before the first goal you conceded, the foul called on Yunus in a position unrelated to any foul before the second goal, these things are not being talked about." he said.

Recalling that after taking a 1-0 lead in the match, a Gaziantep FK player was lying on the ground holding his face, Çapa said, "Van Drongelen scores a goal. After scoring, the player who fell to the ground looks. When he sees our players celebrating, he holds his face as if he has been hit. If we are going to talk about the development of Turkish football, let’s focus on these points. Which player of Samsunspor has reacted in a way that does not conform to sportsmanship until today? Comments should not be made without discussing these and thinking about them. Some comments made by commentators are frankly very biased. This is also very sad. We are all part of the community. Everyone knows each other very well. We know the refereeing of those who comment. We also know the comments they are making right now. Please let them look in the mirror a little. They should act accordingly." he expressed.
''I HOPE THE CARD WILL BE CANCELLED''
Fuat Çapa, stating that he has served in Turkey for over 10 years, noted the following:
"I have been in the locker room hundreds of times. I have never seen a referee come with security forces to call the team to the field during halftime. In the Gaziantep FK match, the referee called us to the field with police escort. The issue here is not just that; now we have foreign players among us, we currently have a foreign coach. Why do we always come to the agenda abroad with such bad headlines, why? In the upcoming matches we will play, our player will be missing. Every player is valuable and precious to us. But the card he received unjustly really saddens a person. We appealed, I don’t know what will come out. If we look at it from a moral perspective, I hope the card will be cancelled. Am I very hopeful? I don’t know, we will see. We will also see the decision that the federation will make here, because there are examples of this in the past. The decision to be made here will frankly show us our place in the federation. The incidents that occurred are very sad. For 2.5 years, we have not brought up or talked about the referees in any way. But we see that when it is not talked about, it hurts you more, and you suffer more injustice."
