Shamigulova, who was a teacher at Chelyabinsk University, was found naked in a shallow grave. The autopsy revealed numerous stab wounds on her chest. Even more horrifying, the victim's tongue and throat were cut.
The suspect arrested is Puryavirsingh Sundur, a 29-year-old IT engineer. Sundur confessed to the murder and claimed that he committed it out of jealousy.
The police are still searching for the missing body parts and Shamigulova's clothes. Nevertheless, a funeral was held before the body was sent back to Russia.
