While efforts to combat the fires in Bursa, Manisa, Konya, and Bolu continue, the fires in Tekirdağ and Çanakkale have rapidly grown, threatening residential areas. As a result of the fires, one village in Tekirdağ and two villages in Çanakkale have been evacuated. In one village in Çanakkale, a large number of houses have succumbed to the flames.

Another fire that quickly grew and threatened residential areas broke out in Çanakkale. The fire that started in the forested area in Naldöken village of Ayvacık district grew due to the wind.



Teams began to intervene in the fire with 2 planes and 3 helicopters from the air, and 15 fire trucks, 4 water supply vehicles, 16 fire engines, 3 first response vehicles, 5 bulldozers, 5 trailers, 11 external support units, and 130 personnel from the ground.

In the forest fire that broke out in Ayvacık district of Çanakkale, the village of Naldöken, which was close to the fire, was engulfed in flames due to the strong winds. Some houses and unused buildings burned fiercely. Villagers whose houses burned experienced nervous breakdowns.

TWO VILLAGES EVACUATED



In a statement from the Çanakkale Governorship, it was noted that a fire occurred in the Naldöken village area of Ayvacık around 15:02.



The statement indicated that the fire was being extinguished intensively with 2 planes and 3 helicopters from the air, and 15 fire trucks, 4 water supply vehicles, 16 fire engines, 3 first response vehicles, 5 bulldozers, 5 trailers, 11 external support units, and 130 personnel from the ground. It was stated, "As a precautionary measure, evacuation procedures have begun in the Tuzla and Naldöken villages to ensure the safety of our citizens. All our teams are continuously working in the field to bring the fire under control."



ALARMING FIRE IN BOLU



Another point of forest fires was Mudurnu district in Bolu. A fire broke out in the agricultural area in Delice village, near Bayramlı Kümesleri, around 14:30. The fire, which started for unknown reasons, spread over a wide area.



Upon notification from the surrounding area, fire trucks belonging to the Bolu Forest Regional Directorate were dispatched to the scene.

FIRE IN MANISA AND KONYA



In Manisa's Saruhanlı district, one of the two separate forest fires has been brought under control, while teams continue to intervene in the other.



In a statement from the governorship, it was noted that the fire in the forested area of Apak Neighborhood was brought under control in a short time with the intervention of teams from the air and ground.



In Konya, a forest fire broke out in the forested area near Davras in Güvendik Neighborhood of Doğanhisar district. The Konya Governorship announced that one person was detained in connection with the fire. The statement said, "According to information received from the authorities, a 15-year-old suspect who was grazing animals was detained on the grounds that the fire he lit spread to the forest."



BURSA ENGULFED IN FLAMES



Another fire broke out in the grassy area between Akçalar and Gölyazı neighborhoods in Nilüfer district of Bursa. The flames quickly grew and spread to the forest due to the wind.



Upon notification, teams from the Forest Regional Directorate and fire department were dispatched to the area. A corridor was created to prevent the flames from reaching a nearby farm, while TOMA vehicles also supported the ongoing extinguishing efforts from the air and ground.
