IT CAUGHT FIRE WITH A LOUD EXPLOSION
According to reports in the national press, the incident occurred around 4:00 PM local time when a Beech B200 Super King Air type aircraft crashed to the ground immediately after takeoff and caught fire with a loud explosion. It was learned that the plane was heading to Lelystad in the Netherlands.
THE PILOT WAVED TO HIS FAMILY WHILE TAXIING
Witnesses stated that while the plane was taxiing before takeoff, the pilot waved to his family, but the aircraft went out of control shortly after. In videos shared on social media, the plane was seen engulfed in flames at the crash site.
4 PEOPLE LOST THEIR LIVES
According to the British national news agency PA Media, 4 people on board the plane lost their lives as a result of the accident.
