WHO IS ILKER ARSLAN?
Antalya Police Chief İlker Arslan graduated from the Police Academy in 1994 with the rank of Deputy Inspector. He started his first duty at the Ankara Provincial Police Department and has held various positions in the General Directorate of Security, Siirt, and Ankara throughout his career.
Arslan served as the Head of the Witness Protection Department between 2016-2021 and continued his duties as the Interior Affairs Advisor at the Embassy of North Macedonia in Skopje between 2021-2024.
He was appointed as the Antalya Provincial Police Chief by the Presidential Decree dated August 16, 2024. İlker Arslan was suspended today by the decision announced by the Ministry of Interior.
