Keçeci, known to be going through tough times due to financial difficulties, was recently spotted collecting cardboard near a trash bin. The actor, who made an effort to avoid being noticed, left the area after collecting the cardboard and boarding a municipal bus.

After the images spread, Metin Keçeci broke his silence and described the incident with the following words: "I took cardboard from the market and went to the bus stop. I am someone who uses public transportation. I have never been disconnected from the people, and I always will be. When I arrived at the bus stop, there was a crowd. I wondered, 'Would it be inappropriate to get on with cardboard? Is there room?'"
"MY FRIEND SENT ME THE IMAGES"
According to a report by Gece Muhabiri, Keçeci stated that the images reached him through his friends and added: "After I got home, a fellow actor sent me the footage. They put dramatic music over it. I am just an ordinary citizen, I am plain Metin Keçeci. Due to our job, we are a bit in the spotlight, but I use public transportation."
