FIRST EARTHQUAKE WAS 4.7 MAGNITUDE
According to the data from AFAD Earthquake Department, a 4.7 magnitude earthquake was recorded in the district at 06:16. It was reported that the tremor occurred at a depth of 12.31 kilometers.
TWO MORE EARTHQUAKES OCCURRED FOUR MINUTES LATER
Only four minutes after this earthquake, another aftershock of 4.2 magnitude occurred centered in Sındırgı. A minute later, another tremor of the same magnitude occurred. The depths of the aftershocks were measured as 7 and 7.89 kilometers, respectively.
SINDIRGI WAS SHAKEN BY 4 EARTHQUAKES IN THE MORNING
After these consecutive tremors, another earthquake of 4 magnitude occurred at 07:45. Thus, since 06:16 in the morning, there have been 4 earthquakes of 4 and above in the region.

While the tremors were felt in surrounding provinces, according to initial assessments, no negative impact was reported.
DISASTER AREA WAS DECLARED
The district was declared a "Disaster Area Affecting General Life" after the 6.1 magnitude earthquakes that occurred on August 10 and October 27. Speaking about Sındırgı, where more than 15,000 earthquakes have been recorded in the last three months, Disaster Management Expert Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bülent Özmen stated that this corresponds to approximately 60% of the number of earthquakes experienced in Turkey in a year.
