A C-130 military cargo plane belonging to the Turkish Air Force, which was taking off from Azerbaijan to Turkey, crashed at the Georgia-Azerbaijan border. In the accident, 20 of our soldiers were martyred. The black box of the plane has been brought to Turkey and is expected to provide important information regarding the cause of the accident. THE BLACK BOX WILL SOLVE THE MYSTERY
While the work in the wreckage area continues, teams have retrieved the black box, which is critical for accident investigation. The black box contains in-flight radio communications and system records. This data is expected to provide important information regarding the cause of the accident. Meanwhile, it has been learned that the parts collected from the wreckage will be evaluated at the military base in Kayseri for preliminary examination.
THE FIRST PART TO BREAK OFF WAS THE TAIL SECTION
The investigation team, chaired by Air Force Evaluation and Inspection President Major General Yaşar Kadıoğlu, went to Georgia with the A400M "Koca Yusuf" aircraft to start work in the area. Search and rescue and accident investigation teams began their activities at 06:30 yesterday. According to initial findings, it has been determined that the tail section of the aircraft was the first part to break off in the accident. The reasons for this situation are being investigated. The preliminary investigation report is expected to be completed shortly. At this stage of the investigation, it is being focused on whether the aircraft experienced a technical problem.
IMAGES SHOW THE NOSE AND TAIL SECTIONS HAVE BROKEN OFF
In the images taken in the area regarding the accident, it is seen that the nose and tail sections of the aircraft have completely broken off. In one video, it is understood that a large piece separated from the aircraft before it hit the ground and fell to the ground. It is evaluated that this could be a piece that broke off from the tail or cargo section, while in another image, the tail section is seen to have fallen independently from the main body. While the tail section was found at a distance from the fuselage, the main fuselage hit the ground shortly after.
THE AIRCRAFT LOST CONTROL WHEN THE TAIL BROKE OFF
In the photographs thought to have been taken immediately after the accident, it is seen that the tail section is located in a separate area, while the main fuselage is completely burned due to the impact of the crash. There are still no images regarding the nose section of the aircraft.
In the investigation, it is being considered that the tail section first separated from the fuselage, and then the nose section broke off. Experts state that the video showing the accident only reflects a part of the process and that there are no images of the beginning of the event. If the tail is the first part to break off, it is expressed that the aircraft became uncontrollable and this situation may have led to the separation of the nose section as well.

The Ministry of National Defense announced the identities of 20 personnel early in the day, and the news was conveyed to the families of the soldiers. The names of the martyrs are as follows:
