Ahmet Turgut, the father of Özdemir Turgut, the former mayor of Haymana known as "Kürt Ahmet" in Ankara, was bid farewell on his final journey at the age of 91.

The former mayor of Haymana, Ankara, Özdemir Turgut's father, and known as "Kurdish Ahmet," Ahmet Turgut, passed away at the age of 91 due to long-standing health issues.

HE WAS FAREWELLED ON HIS FINAL JOURNEY

Following the afternoon prayer, family members, including Turgut's son Özdemir Turgut, received condolences before the funeral prayer held at Gülveren Mosque. Among those who attended the funeral were AK Party Member of Parliament Osman Gökçek, CHP Member of Parliament Adnan Beker, former Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Melih Gökçek, and MHP Ankara Provincial Chairman Alpaslan Doğan.

Ahmet Turgut's funeral was buried at Cebeci Asri Cemetery after the funeral prayer was held.
