The debate over "fool" and "exploiter" in the Parliament continues. Reacting to the statements of CHP Group Deputy Chairman Ali Mahir Başarır, AK Party Secretary General Eyyüp Kadir İnan said, "Başarır is someone who has built his political career not on merit, but on 'bagman' activities. His title as CHP Group Deputy Chairman is not a result of his political success, but rather a consequence of İmamoğlu's illicit money and the debt owed for extraordinary relations with Özel. He should control his outrageous language."
AK Party Secretary General and İzmir Deputy Eyyüp Kadir İnan made a written assessment regarding the statements of CHP Group Deputy Chairman Ali Mahir Başarır. In his statement, İnan argued that Ali Mahir Başarır built his political career not on merit but on a "bagman" mentality, expressing that this situation is well known in Mersin and among the CHP public.
"NOT HIS POLITICAL SUCCESS"
İnan stated that Başarır's current title as CHP Group Deputy Chairman is not a political success, claiming that it is a result of the relationships established with Ekrem İmamoğlu and CHP Chairman Özgür Özel.
In his statement, İnan emphasized that their engagement with Ali Mahir Başarır stems not from personal respect but from the respect due to the institutional weight of the position he occupies. He noted that Başarır's political weight and value are clear in his eyes.
"HIS EXPRESSIONS LOWER THE LEVEL OF THE ASSEMBLY"
Criticizing the language used under the roof of the Gazi Assembly, İnan stated that comparisons of elected representatives to "dogs" and expressions like "fool" are unacceptable, expressing that such statements lower the level of the Assembly.
Stating that they reject such expressions as the AK Party Group, İnan emphasized that Ali Mahir Başarır needs to be careful with his language. İnan concluded his statement by saying that otherwise, these attitudes would be met with the harshest response within the legitimate framework of politics and law.
