It has been reported that 7 people lost their lives as a result of an ambulance plane crash in the Jharkhand state of India.
According to a report by India Today, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) of India stated that the Beechcraft C90 aircraft belonging to Redbird Airways took off from the capital of Jharkhand, Ranchi.
CRASHED 20 MINUTES AFTER TAKEOFF, NO SURVIVORS
The statement mentioned that contact with the aircraft was lost approximately 20 minutes after takeoff, and it was later determined that the plane had crashed in the Chatra region. Chatra District Commissioner Keerthishree G stated in a statement regarding the incident that the 7 people on board the crashed ambulance plane lost their lives.
7 PEOPLE ON BOARD THE PLANE
Authorities revealed that there were 2 pilots, a 41-year-old patient with burns on 63% of his body, two attendants accompanying the patient, a doctor, and a healthcare worker on the plane.
An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
