Erol Dündar, the President of the Association of Tobacco Retailers, announced that there has been a price increase for the Imperial Tobacco (IT) cigarette group. With this increase, the cheapest cigarette in this group is now 84 TL, while the most expensive cigarette has risen to 98 TL.
Experts consider smoking to be one of the most common causes of lung cancer. It not only affects smokers but also those exposed to its smoke. This situation, known as passive smoking, is said to increase the risk of lung cancer by approximately 24 percent.
