With the signature of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, rectors have been appointed to Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam, Cappadocia, Yüksek İhtisas, Kadir Has, and Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim universities.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan appointed rectors to 5 universities.
According to the appointment decisions published in the Official Gazette;
- Prof. Dr. İbrahim Taner Okumuş was appointed as the Rector of Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University,
- Prof. Dr. Hasan Ali Karasar was appointed as the Rector of Cappadocia University,
- Prof. Dr. Şebnem Kavaklı was appointed as the Rector of Yüksek İhtisas University,
- Prof. Dr. Ayşe Başar was appointed as the Rector of Kadir Has University,
- Prof. Dr. İsmail Küçük was appointed as the Rector of Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University.
President Erdoğan made these appointments in accordance with Article 13 of the Higher Education Law No. 2547 and Articles 2, 3, and 7 of the Presidential Decree No. 3.
