The Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office initiated a simultaneous operation in 21 provinces against the 'Casperlar' criminal organization and instructed the capture of 117 suspects. The operation is part of a large investigation involving 145 individuals who have been arrested and 223 individuals identified as being involved in various crimes of the organization.

As part of the investigation conducted by the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against the Casperlar criminal organization, operations were launched in 21 provinces to capture 117 suspects.

AN 839-PAGE INDICTMENT HAS BEEN PREPARED

As part of the investigation initiated against the 'Casperlar' criminal organization, which was found to be involved in crimes such as 'robbery', 'intentional injury', 'threat', 'drug trafficking', 'prostitution', and 'deprivation of liberty', primarily in the Bahçelievler district led by İsmail Atız, as well as in the Küçükçekmece and Bağcılar districts, an 839-page indictment prepared by the Organized Crimes Investigation Bureau was submitted, with 223 individuals, 145 of whom are detained, listed as 'suspects' in the indictment.

OPERATION ORDER FOR THE CAPTURE OF 117 SUSPECTS IN 21 PROVINCES

While the prepared indictment was sent to the Bakırköy Heavy Criminal Court, a new development occurred in the investigation. Law enforcement units reached new findings indicating that the activities and actions of the armed criminal organization continued in a manner that would pose a threat, and in this context, search, seizure, arrest, and detention orders were issued for 117 suspects who were found to be involved in the organization's actions, deemed to have connections and affiliations with the organization, and identified as conducting organization propaganda through social media, at 223 different addresses. The Chief Public Prosecutor's Office instructed the Istanbul Provincial Police Department's Organized Crime Fighting Branch to carry out simultaneous operations in 21 provinces, including Istanbul, Adıyaman, Amasya, Ankara, Antalya, Bitlis, and Çanakkale.
