In the investigation regarding the poisoning of the 4-member Bocek family in Fatih, a new development has emerged following the release of footage showing the moments when the family was trapped in the hotel. A warrant for the arrest of the hotel owner and an employee, who were previously released under judicial control, has been issued.

INVESTIGATION INTO THE DEATH OF THE BÖCEK FAMILY CONTINUES
The investigation into the death of the four-member Böcek family, who died from poisoning while on vacation in Istanbul Fatih, continues. As part of the investigation, the family's attempt to open the locked door of the hotel on November 13 was recorded by security cameras.
FAMILY TRAPPED IN HOTEL
The footage shows father Servet Böcek trying to open the locked door with his child in his arms. During this time, an ambulance was seen waiting outside, and bystanders were trying to help. The recordings also captured father Böcek attempting to break the door with items he picked up and later the door being opened from the outside. It was learned that the staff had gone to a kebab shop to eat.
ARREST WARRANT FOR HOTEL OWNER AND STAFF
Following the emergence of the footage, a new development occurred. An arrest warrant was issued for the hotel owner and staff, who had previously been released under judicial control.
WHAT HAPPENED?
The Böcek family, who arrived in Istanbul from Germany on November 9 and stayed at a hotel in Fatih, went to the hospital by taxi on the morning of November 12, and after examination and treatment, returned to the hotel they were staying at. The family, who became unwell again around 01:00 on November 13, was taken to the hospital by an ambulance called to the hotel, and the children could not be saved despite intervention on the same day.
The mother, who was treated at Taksim Training and Research Hospital, passed away on November 14, and the father died on November 17. Two tourists staying at the hotel where the family was lodged were also treated at the same hospital for nausea and vomiting complaints. A third person, who was staying in the same room and was accompanying the patients, was hospitalized for examination due to low heart rate. After the police team's investigation, the hotel was sealed.
HAVE 8 SUSPECTS BEEN ARRESTED?
As part of the investigation initiated by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, 11 suspects were detained. Among those detained and taken to the courthouse after their procedures, the mussel vendor Y.D, the Turkish delight seller F.T, the kokoreç seller E.E, and the café operator F.M.O. were arrested.
Later, among the 7 suspects sent to the courthouse, the owner of the pest control company Z.K, the company's employees S.K. and D.C., and hotel staff M.M.U.D.C. were also arrested.
The hotel owner suspect H.O. was subjected to a "travel ban" and "prohibition from leaving his residence," while other judicial control measures were imposed on hotel staff R.B. and simit seller M.K.
