The exam results of Çimen Gülen, who was greeted with flowers by her father at the exit of the YKS in Muş, an event watched by millions, have been announced. Gülen stated, "I scored 431.45250 points in the Foreign Language Tests, ranking 10,840th in Turkey. I am very grateful that the result exceeded my expectations. My father's pride in that moment is now crowned with joy."
Çimen Gülen (19), who was welcomed with flowers by her father after the Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) in Muş, scored 431.45250 points in the Foreign Language Test.
Çimen Gülen, the fourth of seven children of Gülşah (50) and Mehmet Emin Gülen (60), who make a living through livestock farming in the village of Bahçe, was greeted with flowers by her father after leaving the Islamic Sciences Faculty of Muş Alparslan University following the first session of the YKS. Seeing her father running towards her with flowers in his hand, Gülen couldn't hold back her tears. The moments when her mother, Gülşah Gülen, also ran joyfully were recorded by someone nearby with a mobile phone and shared on social media. The footage was watched by millions of people.
"I GOT A RESULT ABOVE MY EXPECTATIONS"
Çimen Gülen, a graduate of Nusret Sarman Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School in Accommodation and Travel Services, scored 431.45250 points in the Foreign Language Test. Stating that it was a special day for her, Çimen Gülen said, "I took the YKS exam, it was a very beautiful day. What made my day even more beautiful was my father's greeting with flowers. Today, the YKS results were announced. I became the 10,840th in Turkey by scoring 431.45250 points in the Foreign Language Tests. Thank God, I got a result above my expectations. My father proudly crowned that moment now," she said.
Çimen, who stated that her goal is to study artificial intelligence-supported software engineering abroad, said, "I want to gain my economic freedom and stand on my own feet."

Mehmet Emin Gülen, Çimen Gülen's father, said, "When my daughter took the exam, her mother and I were by her side to support her. I thought about how I could make her happy when she came out. I decided to buy flowers. At that moment, it felt like the world was mine. It was a very special moment. Today we learned that she passed the exam, we are very happy. I will continue to support my daughter as she studies. She made us proud once again," he said.
