After the so-called "mobilization" call from the terrorist organization YPG/SDG, sympathizers of the terrorist organization in the Iraqi Kurdish Regional Government stoned the Iraq Turkmen Front building and attempted to storm it.
After the successful operations of the Syrian army, following the so-called "mobilization" call of the terrorist organization YPG/SDG in the regions it occupied in northern Syria, sympathizers of the terrorist organization in the Iraqi Kurdish Regional Government (IKBY) carried out a provocative act.
THEY ATTEMPTED TO STORM THE IRAQI TURKMEN FRONT BUILDING
Sympathizers of the terrorist organization gathered in front of the Iraqi Turkmen Front (ITC) Provincial Presidency building in Erbil and attempted to storm the building by throwing stones. The sympathizers, who carried posters of the terrorist organization SDG leader Mazlum Abdi, were prevented by the intervention of the Turkmen security personnel and Erbil police assigned to protect the building.
"SOME OF THEM ARE FOREIGN NATIONALS"
In a statement regarding the provocative act, Aydın Maruf, the Regional Minister Responsible for Organizations in IKBY and a member of the ITC Political Bureau, stated that some of the attacking group consisted of foreign nationals. Maruf said, "Our security personnel prevented entry into the building. Subsequently, additional security forces were dispatched to the area with the intervention of the Erbil Governor. We thank our governor and the security units."
"WE ARE NOT A PARTY IN THIS TENSION"
Maruf expressed that the windows of the building were broken as a result of the attack, emphasizing that the Iraqi Turkmen Front is not a party in these incidents, stating, "It is completely wrong for our building to be targeted in the protests. We are not a party in this tension. Currently, our building is being protected by law enforcement and police units, and I do not think such attacks will be repeated."
