Two suspects have been detained for sharing misleading information regarding the death of fashion designer and social media influencer Ayşegül Eraslan in Kağıthane, Istanbul. A close friend of Eraslan claimed that the young woman did not commit suicide but was a victim of murder.
It has been determined that two suspects shared misleading information from their social media accounts regarding the death of fashion designer Ayşegül Eraslan (27), who was found dead in her home, known from the competition program "İşte Benim Stilim." The identities of the individuals sharing the misleading information were identified by the Istanbul Police Department teams. The suspects, named B.Ö. and S.P., were taken into custody by the police. It has been learned that the suspects will be referred to the courthouse for the crime of 'publicly disseminating misleading information.'
"AYŞEGÜL WAS A VICTIM OF MURDER," HE SAID
Shortly before the young phenomenon was found dead in her home, she had shared a farewell note in the story section of her social media account, and her friend S.P. claimed that the note left by the young woman was not in her handwriting, that she did not commit suicide, and that she was a victim of murder.
