As the war between the US-Israel and Iran enters its 16th day with intense attacks, the statements from both sides have significantly raised tensions.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guards announced that they will resolutely continue their attacks aimed at killing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
"IF HE IS NOT DEAD, WE WILL FOLLOW AND KILL HIM"
The Tasnim News Agency published a statement regarding the 52nd wave of the Revolutionary Guards' Real Promise-4 operations. The statement included, "If Netanyahu is alive, we will resolutely continue our attacks aimed at following and killing him."
The statement emphasized that in the 52nd wave of attacks, the Revolutionary Guards targeted the industrial areas of Tel Aviv with heavy missiles, and it was reported that missile and drone attacks were carried out on the industrial sections of Erbil al-Harir Air Base, Ali al-Salem in Kuwait, Camp Arifjan bases, and centers where US forces are gathered.
ISRAEL: CLAIM THAT NETANYAHU IS DEAD IS FALSE
The Israeli Prime Minister's Office was asked if they had any statements regarding the increasing claims on social media that "Netanyahu has been killed," to which they responded, "These are false news, the Prime Minister is in good condition."
During a press conference that Netanyahu attended online on March 13, the sound of the attack alarm given throughout Israel not being heard at the location of the meeting and the subsequent spread of some videos, which were claimed to be produced by artificial intelligence, on social media were cited as the basis for these claims.
TRUMP: WE CAN STRIKE A FEW MORE TIMES FOR FUN
While Iran's actions escalated tensions, a notable statement came from US President Donald Trump. Referring to the recent attacks on Hark Island, which is critical for Iran, Trump said, "We completely destroyed Hark Island, but we can strike a few more times for fun."
Trump reminded, "But as you know, I did not do anything to the energy infrastructure because rebuilding it would take years."
