Images of the truck belonging to the driver Hüseyin Fırat from Hatay, who was killed as a result of an Israeli missile hitting Iran, have emerged. The released footage shows that the truck was severely damaged.
Hussein Firat, a truck driver from Hatay, set off to return to Turkey after delivering a load he picked up in Istanbul to Afghanistan. On March 5, while entering Iran with 15 Turkish trucks, including his father Coşkun Firat, Hussein Firat's vehicle was hit by a missile fired by Israel.
DIED IN HOSPITAL
While passing through Qazvin province and heading towards the city of Zanjan, Firat's truck was attacked and caught fire. Hussein Firat, who was rescued from the truck with injuries, passed away on March 12 at Zanjan Hospital. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs intervened to bring Firat's body back to his hometown.
HIS FUNERAL WAS HELD
With the efforts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Hussein Firat's body was brought to his hometown of Reyhanlı in Hatay and was buried after a ceremony held at the Cemetery Complex.
THE TRUCK THAT WAS ATTACKED WAS CAPTURED
Images of the truck that Hussein Firat was in when it was hit by the Israeli missile and the area where the attack took place have emerged. The images show significant damage to the driver's cabin of the truck.
