The leader of the DEVA Party, Ali Babacan, has given a green light to the People's Alliance. Emphasizing that political collaborations should be shaped on the basis of dialogue and mutual understanding, Babacan stated, "We want to be in dialogue with all political parties, including the AK Party. We do not have an attitude of categorically refusing to meet or collaborate with any particular party."

DEVA Party Chairman Ali Babacan made evaluations regarding the agenda during a live broadcast program he attended on Lider Haber TV.

In a part of the program, Babacan also responded to the question, "If you receive an invitation from the AK Party, from President Erdoğan, could an alliance with the People's Alliance be possible?"

"THE ONLY PARTY WE ARE NOT CELEBRATING WITH RIGHT NOW IS THE AK PARTY"

Starting his remarks by drawing attention to the celebration processes between parties, Babacan said: "We established our party, but even during celebrations, they did not accept us. They neither accepted our visit for the celebration nor sent a delegation for the celebration. It has been like this until the last holiday; we do not know what will happen this holiday. We started with the MHP, but during the past Ramadan and Eid al-Adha, there were requests from them. Both our parties celebrated, and Mr. Bahçeli called me. He even called two days before the holiday and said nice things on the phone. The only party we are not celebrating with right now is the AK Party. Of course, it is a strange situation since it is a party I was once a founder of, but we have never celebrated until today. Let's see what will happen from now on."

GREEN LIGHT TO THE PEOPLE'S ALLIANCE: WE ARE ALWAYS READY FOR DIALOGUE

Regarding the alliance discussions, Babacan emphasized that political collaborations should be shaped on the basis of dialogue and mutual understanding, using the following expressions: "We are always ready for dialogue. An alliance requires a common goal and ground. Right now, there are serious problems in Turkey. There needs to be a common understanding regarding how these problems will be solved. But to be able to do these, dialogue is primarily required. Currently, we do not have dialogue. Except for the October 29 receptions, we have no contact. We would like to be in dialogue with the AK Party, as with every political party. We do not have an attitude of categorically saying we will not meet with this party or cooperate. The important thing is, are we in agreement on diagnosing the problems of this country? Can we openly say, 'we have a problem here'? Secondly, do we have a common understanding of how we will solve this?"
