In the Keşan district of Edirne, a 41-year-old man was shot while parking his minibus in the parking lot in front of his house. The man, who was shot in the chest with a gun, died in the hospital to which he was taken, while the police launched an investigation into the incident.

6 SHOTS FIRED
The incident occurred around 7:00 PM in the parking lot in front of Block 1-C on Bülent Ecevit Street in the Yeni Mahalle neighborhood. Metin Budak, a married construction worker and father of three, parked his minibus in the parking lot in front of his house after returning from work. At that moment, an unidentified person approached the minibus and fired 6 shots through the open window with a gun he pulled from his waist. Budak was seriously injured while the suspect fled the scene on foot.
HE COULD NOT BE SAVED
Metin Budak, who was seriously injured by bullets that hit his chest, was taken to Keşan State Hospital by relatives and neighbors in a private vehicle. Despite all the interventions by doctors, Budak could not be saved. After the examination by the on-duty prosecutor and police, Budak's body was sent to the Edirne Forensic Medicine Institution for autopsy. Relatives who received the news of Budak's death had a nervous breakdown in front of the hospital.
POLICE ARE SEARCHING FOR THE FLEEING SUSPECT EVERYWHERE
Edirne Provincial Police Chief Muhittin Ayhan also arrived at the scene to conduct investigations and gather information. The minibus was towed to the impound lot after the police examination. The police launched a large-scale operation to identify and capture the suspect who fled after the incident.
