HER HUSBAND WAS MET WITH HORROR UPON RETURNING HOME
The incident occurred in an apartment on the third floor of a five-story building located on Yavuz Street in the Hamidiye neighborhood. According to allegations, Nihat Ekinci left home for Friday prayers. Upon returning home after the prayer, Ekinci found his wife motionless on the floor.
SHE WAS KILLED WITH HER THROAT SLIT
Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. In the examination conducted by the medical teams, it was determined that Fatma Ekinci, a mother of two, had died from her throat being slit.
THE BODY WAS SENT FOR AUTOPSY
Ekinci's body was taken to the Bursa Forensic Medicine Institute morgue to determine the exact cause of death.
While a large-scale investigation related to the incident has been initiated, the District Police Department teams have started examining the security camera footage in the area. Efforts are ongoing to capture the perpetrator or perpetrators of the murder.
