Water cuts in the Süleymanpaşa and Marmaraereğlisi districts of Tekirdağ have caused public outrage. Residents of the Kumbağ neighborhood protested the situation by walking along the main street with containers in their hands.

The water cuts that have been ongoing for days in the Süleymanpaşa and Marmaraereğlisi districts of Tekirdağ have caused citizens to revolt. Especially in the Kumbağ neighborhood, citizens took to the streets with jerrycans, walking along the street to protest the situation.

Citizens protesting against the water cuts in the Kumbağ neighborhood of Süleymanpaşa district of Tekirdağ held a walk on the main street at night.

THEY PROTESTED WITH JERRYCANS

Citizens walking with jerrycans and making noise protested the situation they are experiencing. One resident expressed their frustration, saying, "There hasn't been a drop of water since morning. Is this how management works? What is the municipality doing? Little children are suffering. There is no cleanliness, no food, no toilet. We are now protesting with jerrycans."

RUSH TO THE FOUNTAINS IN ÇINARLI NEIGHBORHOOD

Another area affected by the water cuts was the Çınarlı neighborhood of Süleymanpaşa. Long queues formed in front of the fountains in the neighborhood, as citizens tried to fill their jerrycans one by one throughout the night. A citizen waiting at the fountain said, "There is no need to explain, you can see. There has been no water since noon. We might find drinking water, but what will we do for cleanliness? What should those with small children do? The municipality is not working, zero."

As water cuts become more widespread in the city, reactions on social media have also grown, with citizens stating that they are facing a situation similar to the water shortages experienced in the 1990s.
