COMPUTER EXAMINATION REPORTS OF THE DEFENDANT ADDED TO THE CASE FILE

In the previous session, defendant Barış Ayata had been released, and the report prepared by the expert was added to the case file. In today's hearing, the computer examination reports belonging to defendant Çınar Diril, examined by the expert, were added to the case file. The report stated that it was determined that the computer was formatted while Çınar Diril was in detention. Additionally, the report included information that remnants of the number that sent threatening messages to the family were found on the examined computer, but it could not be determined how the record was created.

"MAYBE MY FATHER ENTERED TO DO RESEARCH"

Defendant Diril, who made a defense regarding the report prepared by the expert, said, "I do not accept the allegations. I would never do something so cowardly and dishonorable. I did not send those messages, and I am not even aware that the computer was formatted. It is impossible for this number to appear on the computer. There is not even a password on my computer. No one can enter except for my family. Maybe my father entered to do research," he stated.

During the hearing, Y.B.T., who was heard as a 'witness' and was found to be under 18, stated, "I do not know the number that sent threatening messages to the Minguzzi family. Çınar and I have a game server together, and we wanted to get an open line to provide customer service for this server. There were problems when players connected directly to us. Other players disturb us because of the game. The line we were going to get was a Turkish number. It was not like the foreign numbers that sent threatening messages. Then Çınar decided not to get the line. I also returned the money he sent me. Çınar would not do such a thing to the Minguzzi family. Çınar did not send the threatening messages. I learned about the incident from the news, and I do not know the killers of Minguzzi. I have never discussed this issue with Çınar," he said.

5 YEARS 3 MONTHS IMPRISONMENT AND RELEASE DECISION

The court panel, which announced its interim decision, sentenced detained defendant Çınar Diril to a total of 5 years and 3 months in prison for the crimes of 'threat' and 'insult' and ordered his release.
