While waiting for good news from Narin Güran, who has been missing for 11 days, a series of arrest news came within the scope of the investigation. After Narin's uncle S.G., who is the neighborhood headman of Tavşantepe, her mother was also taken into custody. After her statement was taken, Mother Güran was released.
The investigation initiated by Diyarbakır Republic Prosecutor's Office regarding the disappearance of Narin Güran in the rural Tavşantepe neighborhood of Bağlar district on August 21st is still ongoing. While the whole Turkey closely follows the developments related to the incident, there have been consecutive news of detentions.
DNA SAMPLES WILL BE COMPARED
The teams trying to find a clue about Narin have detained S.G., who is the uncle of Narin and also the headman of Tavşantepe neighborhood. While the interrogation of the uncle continues, the mother Yüksel Güran has also been detained. It has been learned that the uncle S.G.'s phone was turned off for 1 hour after Narin's disappearance, and he was detained for this reason. DNA samples taken from Narin's parents will be compared with the suspect.
"I DIDN'T SAY IT BECAUSE THEY WOULD SUSPECT US"
Mother Güran, in a live broadcast she attended a few days ago, said "I didn't say it because they would suspect us, I'm telling it for the first time. My son who was going to the military and his two friends were smoking tobacco and harming a dog in the backyard of the house when Narin went missing. I said 'Don't do it, it's a sin'". After these statements, the blame was shifted to the older brother E.G. who was detained and taken to Istanbul Forensic Medicine Institute due to a bite mark on his arm. After the examination, it was determined that the bite mark did not belong to Narin and E.G. was released.
