The DMM stated that these posts circulating on social media do not reflect the truth, emphasizing that the content in question is aimed at misleading the public through disinformation and propaganda, and advised that information from sources other than official ones should not be trusted.
The Disinformation Combat Center (DMM) affiliated with the Presidency of Communications announced that the claims regarding Turkey supplying advanced weapon systems to Iran and a U.S. F-15 fighter jet being hit by Turkish-made systems are not true.
CLAIMS DENIED
In a statement made by the DMM, it was emphasized that the claims circulating on social media are completely unfounded. It was noted that the posts contain disinformation.
"PSYCHOLOGICAL WARFARE AND BLACK PROPAGANDA"
The statement expressed that such content is a deliberate attempt to harm Turkey's regional policies. It was recorded that the claims in question are evaluated within the scope of psychological warfare and black propaganda.
It was stated that Turkey follows a policy prioritizing peace and stability in regional crises, and that a diplomacy-focused approach is being maintained.
Officials emphasized that speculative information from unofficial sources should not be trusted to prevent manipulation of public opinion.
