The lifeless bodies of two people trapped in a car due to rising floodwaters in the Kadirli district of Osmaniye have been found. While rescue efforts continue, the bodies of the deceased have been taken to the hospital morgue.

After the heavy rainfall that affected the rural area of Kadirli district in Osmaniye, two people in the car with license plate 33 VFS 22 took refuge in the garden of the Municipal Health Affairs Directorate building on Mehmet Can Street in Savrun neighborhood due to the overflow of Savrun Stream and Bülbül Creek. With the rising floodwaters, Osman Kocaman and Fatih Ambarcı, who were in the car, became trapped inside the vehicle. Search and rescue operations were initiated by the municipality and AFAD teams for the two individuals trapped in the submerged vehicle.

In the rescue operations initiated for Osman Kocaman and Fatih Ambarcı, who were trapped in the car due to rising floodwaters in Kadirli district of Osmaniye, their lifeless bodies were recovered. The bodies of the two deceased individuals were taken to the hospital morgue after the investigations at the scene. Evacuation efforts by the teams are ongoing in the area where the flooding occurred.
