In the Gaza Strip, many buildings that were heavily damaged in the attacks launched by Israel on October 7, 2023, are collapsing due to the storm that has been affecting the region in recent days.
22 BUILDINGS COLLAPSED DUE TO THE STORM
In a statement made by the Palestinian Civil Defense, it was reported that 22 buildings have collapsed so far due to the ongoing rain and strong winds since December 10, and that 18 civilians trapped under the rubble have lost their lives.
"IMMEDIATELY EVACUATE THE BUILDINGS"
In a statement made in the morning, residents who returned to live in buildings that had been targeted in Israeli attacks and classified as "uninhabitable" were urged to strictly follow the instructions of security teams, to evacuate immediately, and to move to safer areas to protect their lives.
