As a result of investigations into 'political and military espionage' conducted in 7 provinces centered in Istanbul, operations were carried out against customs officials who were found to be selling confidential commercial data from customs systems for money, as well as those who received this data and sold it through social media and websites. In the operation, 10 suspects were detained.

"EMPLOYEES SOLD SECRET DATA"
It was determined that some employees working in the customs office sold secret data contained in the system to third parties and marketed this data through some social media accounts and websites.
10 SUSPECTS IDENTIFIED
As a result of the investigations, 10 suspects were identified. A simultaneous operation was carried out in 7 provinces centered in Istanbul on June 27 to capture the suspects.
DIGITAL MATERIALS SEIZED
While all suspects were detained during the operation, a large number of digital materials, documents, and files were seized during the searches conducted at the addresses.
