Extraordinary event in İzmir! Scammers hit a hard wall.

Six people who were scammed due to a ship captain's license in the Buca district of İzmir detained the fraudsters. Teams that were alerted to the situation took action and detained 9 individuals related to the incident. The court decided to arrest the suspects.

Six people who were defrauded due to a ship captain's license in the Buca district of İzmir detained the three individuals who scammed them. The nine people taken into custody were also arrested.

An unusual incident occurred in İzmir. Teams from the Buca District Police Department's Crime Prevention and Investigation Bureau acted upon receiving information that some individuals engaged in fishing in Karaburun were defrauded under the pretense of a ship captain's license, and that the defrauded victims subsequently detained the suspects.

SCAMMERS HIT A HARD WALL

After technical and physical surveillance, it was determined that the suspects, who were found to be in Yalova, had defrauded fishermen of 1 million lira. It was also established that the citizens, realizing they had been scammed, called the suspects to Buca and detained them until the money was returned. Following this, an operation was organized against the suspects.

NINE PEOPLE ARRESTED

In the operation, M.F., B.S., and M.L., who were alleged to have committed fraud, along with I.K., H.K., G.D., S.S., A.S., and B.B., who were charged with deprivation of liberty, were taken into custody. After completing their procedures at the police station, all of the suspects were sent to the courthouse and arrested.
