WHY WAS KARIM KHAN DISMISSED?
Karim Khan, who served as Chief Prosecutor at the International Criminal Court (ICC), was dismissed by a vote of member states on July 24 following a disciplinary process related to allegations of sexual misconduct. Khan denied the accusations and announced that he would appeal, arguing the decision was unlawful. His removal does not affect the arrest warrants previously issued for Netanyahu and former Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.
