A striking allegation has been made against actor Mehmet Yılmaz Ak. Photographer Dilan Bozyel claimed that when she was 16 years old, Ak, who attended the same school, tried to force her into a relationship by holding a gun to her head. "I stayed silent that day because he was my relative. But I will not remain silent anymore," she said.
In the series "Bahar," actor Mehmet Yılmaz Ak, who has been portraying the character "Timur Yavuzoğlu" for two seasons, is facing shocking harassment allegations. Photographer Dilan Bozyel claimed in a statement on her social media account that she was forced to be with Ak when she was 16 years old and that she was threatened with a gun during this time.
"THE BOY IN THE GRAY SUIT"
Bozyel's statements quickly made headlines, and the background and content of the incident resonated widely on social media. Although she did not mention any names, it was claimed that the person she referred to as "the boy in the gray suit who acted in the same series as Demet Evgar" was Mehmet Yılmaz Ak.
Bozyel stated, "There are many topics that have been kept silent. For example, things we couldn't prove because we don't have documents. This boy in the gray suit who acted in this series and with dear Demet Evgar, for instance. We were in Diyarbakır. I was 16 years old, and we were in the same school and the same class. He had tried to force himself on me by putting a gun to my head. Thankfully, I did not allow it. I don't think anyone should look at my petite and light-weight appearance."
"HE WAS A DISTANT RELATIVE"
Bozyel also explained the reason for her silence after the incident with the following words: "I kept it hidden for years because I foresaw that a blood feud would arise since he is a distant relative on my father's side. Like many other things I have kept hidden. He did not apologize; he must have regretted it, of course. He was just a kid, he was immature. He couldn't have known that he would become a 'famous' actor that day."
At the end of her post, Bozyel addressed with these words: "Right now, he can accuse me with this statement. If he has any conscience, I leave it to him. He knows very well what he did. In summary, raise your voice, and support those who speak out so that it doesn't happen to you."
