The unforgettable voice of Arabesque music, Ferdi Tayfur, passed away at the age of 79 in January 2025 at the hospital where he was receiving treatment in Antalya. The master artist, who underwent heart surgery and then a kidney transplant, could not be saved despite all interventions. Tayfur's death, who had won the love of millions, caused deep sorrow in the art world.
HE WAS IN INTENSIVE CARE, THE SAD NEWS CAME IN JANUARY
Ferdi Tayfur, who was suddenly taken to the hospital after a sudden deterioration on December 15, 2024, underwent emergency heart surgery on the same day and then had a kidney transplant. From that day on, he was under treatment in intensive care. However, the artist's condition gradually worsened, and he passed away in January 2025 due to organ failure.
