In a large-scale fraud operation organized by the Kahramanmaraş Provincial Gendarmerie Command, 7 suspects were arrested. Of those arrested, 4 were detained. It was determined that the suspects defrauded citizens by posting fake product advertisements on social media, particularly promising the sale of automobile spare parts and rental houses.

According to the information obtained, a working investigation was initiated by the gendarmerie teams upon receiving a report that D.N.K. (25) was defrauded of 250,000 TL through mobile phone fraud.
THEY DEFRAUDED THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA ADS
As a result of technical and physical surveillance, it was determined that the suspects defrauded citizens by posting fake product ads on social media. It was identified that the suspects victimized many individuals, particularly through the sale of fake automobile spare parts and promises of rental houses.
7 PEOPLE WERE DETAINED
Simultaneous operations were carried out in Adana, Diyarbakır, Gaziantep, and Kırıkkale, centered in Kahramanmaraş. A total of 7 suspects were detained for the crimes of "Qualified Fraud Using Information Systems Organized" and "Establishing an Organization for the Purpose of Committing Crimes."
Examinations of the suspects' bank accounts revealed approximately 65 million TL in account activity.
4 PEOPLE WERE ARRESTED
After their procedures at the gendarmerie, 4 of the suspects were arrested while 3 were released under judicial control. It was reported that the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
