FORMER PRESIDENTS DETAINED
Fikret Orman, the former president of Beşiktaş, was detained by Istanbul narcotics teams, while it was learned that Burak Elmas, the former president of Galatasaray, was also among those detained as part of the investigation.
SEVERE ALLEGATIONS
It was stated that the investigation includes serious allegations such as drug trafficking, facilitation of use, possession, and promoting prostitution.
CELEBRITIES ALSO ON THE LIST
As part of the operation, it was stated that former model Güzide Duran, model Didem Soydan, and businessmen Hakan Sabancı and Kerim Sabancı were also detained. It was learned that actress Hande Erçel, who has a detention order against her, is currently abroad.

OPERATIONS STARTED IN OCTOBER
Since October 8, 2025, many operations have been carried out in the drug investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office targeting celebrities. Many well-known figures in the public eye, including musicians, managers, and businessmen, provided blood and hair samples for drug testing. A total of 26 people have been arrested as part of the investigation.
HOW DOES THE PROCESS WORK?
Those detained in the drug operation targeting celebrities are first subjected to a health check at the hospital. These individuals are then taken to the Forensic Medicine Institution for drug testing. Afterward, the celebrities are taken to the courthouse to give statements to the prosecutor. The prosecutor's request regarding those detained is made at this stage. Depending on the request, the celebrities are either released or referred to court.
