In an operation targeting new generation criminal organizations, 32 suspects involved in 55 incidents across Istanbul were apprehended. The operation was carried out through the joint efforts of the Public Order, Intelligence, Riot Police, and Special Operations teams.

In operations conducted in 5 provinces centered in Istanbul against new generation crime organizations, it was reported that 32 suspects involved in 55 different incidents were captured. The chain operation was carried out through the joint efforts of the Public Order, Intelligence, Riot Police, and Special Operations Branch teams.

TARGET: NEW GENERATION CRIME NETWORKS

According to information based on police sources, a comprehensive study was conducted by the Istanbul Police Department's Public Order Branch regarding the activities of new generation crime networks. Within the scope of the investigation carried out by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against these street gangs, suspects identified as being involved in 55 actions across Istanbul were placed under technical and physical surveillance. An operation was launched early this morning to capture the gang members whose identities and addresses were determined. In addition to the Public Order Branch teams, the Intelligence, Riot Police, and Special Operations Branch were also included in the operation. Simultaneous operations were carried out at addresses identified in Istanbul, Adana, Kocaeli, Sivas, and Sakarya by four separate branches.

32 SUSPECTS IN CUSTODY

The detained suspects were taken to the Istanbul Police Department's Public Order Branch for questioning. Investigative procedures regarding the captured individuals are ongoing.
