According to a statement from the Turkish Handball Federation, Göztepe showcased a superior performance against its opponent in the Final Four event held at the Prof. Dr. Yaşar Sevim Sports Hall in Ankara, winning the match 30-23 and achieving the success of moving up to the Handball Super League. With this result, the İzmir representative earned the right to compete in Turkey's top-level handball league next season.
