During a holiday visit in the Honaz district of Denizli, a discussion escalated into a knife fight. 60-year-old Reyhan Şer was stabbed by her nephew and died in the hospital where she was taken.
The family dispute that occurred on the first day of the holiday in Denizli ended in tragedy. The incident took place in the Hürriyet neighborhood of Honaz district. According to allegations, a dispute broke out between H.T. and his 60-year-old uncle Reyhan Şer for an unknown reason while they were gathered to celebrate the holiday.
KILLED HIS UNCLE WITH A KNIFE
The dispute quickly escalated into a knife fight. During the fight, it was learned that H.T. severely injured his uncle Reyhan Şer with a knife. Upon notification, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene. Şer, who received first aid at the scene, was taken to the hospital and placed in the intensive care unit. However, despite all the interventions by doctors, Reyhan Şer passed away early yesterday morning.
NEPHEW ARRESTED
After the incident, the suspect H.T. was taken into custody and was sent to the courthouse after completing his procedures at the gendarmerie. The suspect was arrested by the court and sent to prison. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
