The rental rates for public housing to be applied in 2026 have been announced. The monthly rent for public housing with heating has increased to 20.97 TL per square meter, while the rent for a 100 square meter house has approached approximately 2,000 TL. The increased rates will come into effect on January 15, 2026.
The rental prices for public housing in Turkey have increased. The newly determined prices for the year 2026 were published in the Official Gazette.
THE MONTHLY RENT FOR A 100 SQUARE METER HEATED PUBLIC HOUSING IS APPROXIMATELY 2,000 TL
Accordingly, the monthly rental price per square meter for heated public housing has risen to 20.97 TL. The monthly rent for a 100 square meter housing unit has become approximately 2,000 TL.
15.99 TL RENT PER SQUARE METER FOR UNHEATED HOUSING
In unheated housing, the rental price has become 15.99 TL per square meter. In simple structures such as adobe, wood, or half-timbered housing, it has risen to 10.23 TL.
It has been learned that the notification also includes expense items that can be charged in addition to the rent. It was stated that if additional services such as heating or janitorial services are covered by the institutions, an additional fee of 2.46 TL per square meter may be charged. In cases where meter separation cannot be made, the extra charges determined for electricity and water will also be added to the rental tariff.
