Cengiz Fison, the manager of Marnas Hotel, and Süleyman Köşkeroğlu, the owner of Köşkeroğlu Baklavaları, were arrested after being taken into custody as part of a corruption investigation against the Bayrampaşa Municipality and were sent to court.

IN THE BAYRAMPAŞA INVESTIGATION, FAMOUS BAKLAVA MAKER ARRESTED
The investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding some public officials and suspects in the Bayrampaşa Municipality for the crimes of "embezzlement," "bribery," "qualified fraud," and "tampering with a tender" is ongoing. Cengiz Fison, the manager of Marnas Hotel, and Süleyman Köşkeroğlu, the owner of Köşkeroğlu Baklava, were referred to the courthouse after being detained as part of the investigation. Both individuals were arrested by the court they were brought before.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Following the detention order issued for 4 suspects as part of the investigation, an operation was carried out by the Financial Crimes Unit of the Istanbul Police Department on December 27.
In the operation, Remzi Albayrak, the Head of the İBB Fire Department, Bekir Önder, a member of the CHP Bayrampaşa District Administration, businessman İbrahim Amedi, and driver Hakan Köse were captured. Recently, Bekir Önder and İbrahim Amedi were arrested, while judicial control measures in the form of a travel ban were imposed on Hakan Köse and Remzi Albayrak.
