In the Şahinbey district of Gaziantep, a family of seven was poisoned by carbon monoxide gas leaking from a stove. It was learned that some members of the family, who were taken to the hospital, are in serious condition.
Seven members of the same family were hospitalized after being poisoned by carbon monoxide gas leaking from a stove in the Şahinbey district of Gaziantep.
The incident occurred in the Vatan neighborhood of the Şahinbey district. According to reports, relatives who could not reach the family members who were sleeping with the stove on to keep warm in the morning found them unconscious when they went to the address. Upon notification, a large number of medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The medical teams that arrived at the scene determined that M.U., his wife A.U., and their children İ.U., M.U., S.U., Z.U., and Y.U. were poisoned by carbon monoxide gas leaking from the stove, and after the first intervention, they were taken to Gaziantep City Hospital, Şehitkamil State Hospital, and Abdulkadir Yüksel State Hospital. It was learned that some of the family members whose treatment had begun in the hospital were in serious condition.
An investigation has been launched regarding the incident.
