Asking for help, the artist stated, "Neither the phone works nor the internet, the situation is very critical." She returned to Turkey within hours. Describing the fear she experienced at the border crossing, Lara expressed her reaction with the words, "You are a murderer, Israel!"
Famous pop music artist Lara, who had been living in Iran with her husband, Iranian volleyball player Mehdi Karimi, after their marriage last year, has been directly affected by the rising tensions in the region due to Israel's recent attacks on Iran.
“THE SITUATION IS VERY CRITICAL” SHE HAD ASKED FOR HELP
After the recent developments, Lara reached out to her followers through her social media account, stating that communication conditions in Iran have almost completely come to a standstill and that they are in a state of great uncertainty. In her post, she used the following expressions: "I am in Iran, the situation here is very critical. It was very difficult to access social media. Neither our phones are working, nor can we access the internet. Please do not hold back your prayers. May God be with the honorable people of Iran."
Expressing her anxiety with these words, Lara began to look for ways to return to her country safely in a short time.

Having managed to return to Turkey within hours, Lara made an emotional post at the border gate. The artist, who revealed the fear and stress she experienced, addressed her followers with the following statement: "Thank God, I am so sad and stressed that I can't express it... I just want to say this: You are a murderer, Israel!"
