The reason behind Israel's opposition to the presence of Turkish soldiers in Gaza has become clear. Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar stated that Turkey, under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, has demonstrated its approach towards Israel not only through statements but also "through diplomatic and economic sanctions against Israel."
Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar held a joint press conference with Hungary's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Peter Szijjarto, in Budapest, the capital of Hungary, where he came for official talks.
WE WILL NOT WORK WITH THE UN Saar emphasized that despite the Tel Aviv administration's decision to support UN agencies in Gaza, they would "definitely not work" with the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) and would not accept the decisions of international courts during a consultative meeting regarding Israel's actions against UN agencies at the International Court of Justice (ICJ).

HE ALSO BLAMED THE EU Saar claimed that the Palestinian administration was making payments to Palestinians released under the agreement and alleged that the EU was supporting the Palestinian administration by "absolving" it instead of holding it accountable.
SET CONDITIONS TO WITHDRAW FROM GAZA Saar claimed that the Israeli army's withdrawal from the areas it occupies in Gaza is "dependent on the disarmament of Hamas," stating that they could then carry out the withdrawal from Gaza in accordance with their obligations under the agreement.
ANNEXATION BILL FOR THE WEST BANK Referring to the approval of the bill for the annexation of the occupied West Bank in a preliminary vote in the Israeli Parliament, Saar claimed that the bill was brought forward by the opposition. He stated that it was "neither wise nor responsible" to present the bill during U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance's visit to Israel. Saar noted that the government would not support this step, and therefore the annexation bill for the West Bank would not pass in the Parliament.
