President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan welcomed UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, who is visiting Turkey, with an official ceremony. The horsemen who greeted Starmer's official vehicle on the street in front of the Presidential Complex accompanied the vehicle to the protocol entrance.

After a one-on-one meeting at the Presidential Complex, Erdoğan and Starmer proceeded to an inter-delegation meeting. The expected news from the summit arrived. An agreement was reached for Turkey's acquisition of the Eurofighter Typhoon fighter jet. After the meeting, Erdoğan and Starmer signed the agreements regarding the Eurofighter acquisition in front of the cameras.

The German government had also officially approved the agreement regarding the sale to Turkey. The Eurofighter consortium, which includes the UK, Germany, Italy, and Spain, announced that negotiations for Turkey's acquisition of 40 fighter jets are ongoing.
