Tokat Mayor Mehmet Kemal Yazıcıoğlu renewed the white SUV used as an official vehicle by his father Recep Yazıcıoğlu, who is known as the "Super Governor" in the city, with a 4-month restoration and put it into municipal service after 45 years. Yazıcıoğlu, who took the SUV he saw on the street for a test drive, said, "Everyone was curious. I will participate in some events with this vehicle."

The white SUV that Recep Yazıcıoğlu, known to the public as "Super Governor" and "Legendary Governor," used as an official vehicle between 1984 and 1989 in Tokat, came across his son Mehmet Kemal Yazıcıoğlu during a neighborhood visit after many years.

SAW IT ON THE STREET AND BOUGHT IT

During the visit, Tokat Mayor Yazıcıoğlu realized that the vehicle he saw belonged to his father, Recep Yazıcıoğlu. Following this, Mayor Yazıcıoğlu contacted the vehicle owner, obtained information about the SUV's history, and purchased the vehicle personally.

THE VEHICLE WAS RESTORED WITH 4 MONTHS OF WORK

The official vehicle of Recep Yazıcıoğlu, who personally attended the opening of the primary school in Muratkaya village, connected to the Reşadiye district in 1985, was taken for comprehensive maintenance by the industrial tradesmen in Tokat after its purchase. The white SUV was renewed after approximately 4 months of work. The vehicle, which underwent repairs to the engine, body, and mechanical parts, was restored while preserving its original structure.

TEST DRIVE WAS CONDUCTED

After the restoration process was completed, Mayor Yazıcıoğlu met with the industrial tradesmen over breakfast. During the meeting, the SUV, which had completed its maintenance and repair, was handed over to Mayor Yazıcıoğlu. After receiving the vehicle, Yazıcıoğlu conducted a test drive with the SUV.

"I WILL ATTEND SOME PROGRAMS WITH THIS VEHICLE"

After the test drive, Mayor Yazıcıoğlu stated that he would participate in some programs with this vehicle, which his father Recep Yazıcıoğlu had used to serve Tokat for many years, saying, "We have put my father's legacy back into service. Everyone was curious. I will attend some programs with this vehicle. I thank those who contributed."

A listening device was found in the office of Mehmet Kemal Yazıcıoğlu, the Mayor of Tokat, located in the Canikli Mansion, which is used as the mayor's office. In the investigation initiated regarding the incident, 2 suspects were arrested.
